Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous, old time example of erythrite from the type locality in Germany!!! This specimen hosts a striking spray of deep purplish-pink erythrite crystals prominently perched on quartz matrix in association with pyrite crystals!!! The erythrite crystals have sharply defined features with marked luster and range in size to 1.3cm!!! These old time type locality erythrite specimens date to the mid 19th century and are quite difficult to obtain today!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains an old museum label as well!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
