Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent example of this rare and highly sought after species from Franklin!!! This specimen consists of a large, striking mass of rare esperite in association with franklinite, calcite, andradite and a small amount of zincite, willemite, and possibly other related species as well!!! The entire front of this specimen - its broadest face - is almost completely comprized of a thick mass of intense, fluorescent yellow esperite - with numerous large and significant areas of esperite all around the specimen as well!!! This specimen is MOSTLY esperite!!! This specimen shows particularly intense and showy fluorescence in person!!! This specimen was in the private, personal collection of Franklin collector Gar VanTassel!!! Simply a killer, display-worthy example of this rare and highly prized Franklin species!!!
