Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely magnificent example of this rare and sought after species from Franklin!!! This specimen hosts a very rich
showing of intense, bright lemon yellow fluorescent esperite in aesthetic association with purple-blue fluorescent hardystonite, and
deep red-orange fluorescent calcite!!! The esperite is present as a bold, sharply defined mass that resembles a shooting star
(or slightly curved exclamation point depending on its position)!!! This is a VERY striking specimen in person!!! The colors are MUCH more
intense in person and there is a LOT more color on this specimen than it shows in the pics!!! There appear to be some other species present and
the reverse side shows scattered areas of orange-peach fluorescence within the bands of hardystonite!!! Simply an outstanding
fluorescent Franklin beauty!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Franklin area collector Gar VanTassel!!! The pics hardly
do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY MAY 30th!!!
