Description/Interesting Notes:
A terrific example of this prized rare species from New Hampshire!!! This specimen consists of solid
eucryptite in association with a small amount of crystalline spodumene on one edge!!! This specimen shows a
remarkable red fluorescence under SW UV that is quite characteristic and makes this species so sought after!!!
The fluorescence is much more pronounced and striking in person (it almost has a slight fluorescent-translucence as well)!!! There is
a small area of crystalline spodumene perched on one edge as well!!!
This specimen retains an old, detailed label from Gunnar Bjareby as well, that dates the specimen to 1957 (the locality was
closed shortly thereafter)!!! Rare old time material!!!
