This specimen consists of a nearly solid mass of eucryptite in association with a small amount of unidentified matrix!!! Under SW UV, this specimen fluoresces a rich, characterisitic crimson red!!! This specimen is from the Irenee du Pont Mineral Collection and University of Delaware Mineralogical Museum!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
