Ferberite with Cassiterite & Arsenopyrite Panasqueira, Covilhã, Castelo Branco District, Portugal 2.3cm x 1.9cm x 1.33cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of ferberite from Portugal!!! This specimen consists of a single compound crystal of jet-black ferberite that hosts several sharp crystals of cassiterite and a lone crystal group of silvery arsenopyrite!!! The ferberite crystal has highly glassy luster in one aspect, and a unique shark-skin "sheen" in another!!! The cassiterite crystals are razor-sharp, highly lustrous, and have dark brown color with hints of gemminess in some areas!!! There is a single group of arsenopyrite crystals perched on one corner as well!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition and displays fantastically!!! Classic Panasqueira material!!!
