Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of fluorite from Ohio!!! This specimen consists of a showy cluster of bicolor fluorite crystals on matrix!!!
The fluorite crystals are razor-sharp, water-clear, brilliantly lustrous and exhibit a strikining two-generation coloration!!! The
crystals have sharply defined cores of rootbeer colored fluorite followed by an outer zone of water-clear colorless fluorite!!! Upon
close inspection some of the brown cores actually show some minute "coatings" frozen on their surfaces!!! While this specimen is quite striking in regular
lighting - under UV lighting the specimen puts on a magnificent display!!! Under UV the brown cores fluoresce an intense yellow-green!!! This specimen is
in superb condition all around and displays fantastically!!! This specimen is from the collection of Glenn Nicol!!! The pics hardly do it
justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
