Fluorite Deer Trail Mine, Mount Baldy District, Cottonwood Creek, Tushar Mts, Piute Co., Utah 16cm x 14.3cm x 10.4cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A huge example of fluorite from Utah!!! I must start off by saying that this is a KILLER specimen and the pictures HARDLY capture it - for some reason the pictures came out horrible!!! The specimen is actually a light green color - most of the pictures show the specimen as being washed out, however I took a few under a fluorescent desk light and you'll see that it shows up quite green (although it is LIGHT green in person, those pictures make it look too green)!!! Aside from the color, the crystals are large cubic crystals with complex octahedral modifications ranging in size up to 4cm!!! The crystals are complete and undamaged!!! This large specimen weighs just under 7 lbs.!!! Make no mistake, this is a large, showy, and pristine Deer Trail Mine fluorite!!! These pictures don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
