Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of fluorite from Castle Dome, Arizona!!! I must start off by saying that this specimen is COMPLETE AND UNDAMAGED!!!
This specimen consists of a highly unusual single crystal of fluorite that exhibits an undescribably complex habit!!! The crystal
exhibits all manner of unusual features and modifications throughout, however it is complete and undamaged all around!!!
The crystal has marked luster and transparency, however its most unique feature - aside from the habit - is its incredible color!!! The
color, in person consists of an outer zone of slightly purplish blue followed by inner zones of unusual sea green color!!! The color seems
to change upon various lighting sources too!!! The pictures show the outer zone being somewhat purple, however it is more bluish to my eye in person!!! This specimen's
color seems to look different every time I look at it - I cannot think of a single other fluorite locality or instance I could compare this
most unique specimen to!!! This is a killer example of fluorite from this seldom referenced Arizona fluorite locality!!! The pics
don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
