Description/Interesting Notes:
A large and impressive example of blue fluorite from this classic locality!!! While most collectors are familiar with the
ubiquitous fluorite "cleavage octahedrons" - this specimen is somewhat special due to its large size and fine color!!! This
specimen consists of a particularly large cleavage octahedron that still shows a trio of flattened, unblemished cube faces as well!!!
The specimen has gorgeous, deep blue color that is way, WAY better than the pics show!!! In person the blue color
is absolutely choice - with some faint zones of purplish-blue in areas!!! There are a few tiny calcite crystals on one of the cube faces as well!!!
Simply a gorgeous example of fluorite from this classic locale!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
