Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic, old time example of fluorite from Cornwall!!! This specimen hosts a group of bright, colorless fluorite crystals
prominently perched atop a greenish, chlorite-rich matrix in aesthetic association with numerous sharp quartz points and brilliant, silvery
arsenopyrite crystals!!! The fluorite crystals exhibit particularly bright and showy play of light within - in person the
specimen is quite dynamic - the fluorite crystals shine brightly from within like lit-up ice cubes!!! The fluorite crystals
exhibit highly complex, tetrahexahedral form (pyramidal faces on each cube face) which is a very rare form and is
quite characteristic of the fluorite crystals from this locale!!! The quartz crystals have razor-sharp terminations and the
arsenopyrite crystals show sharp form with bright silvery metallic luster!!! This specimen is complete and in fantastic condition
all around!!! This is a VERY aesthetic and showy Cornish classic indeed!!! This is OLD material that likely dates back a century or more!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired
the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting
minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was
originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
