Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of fluorite and calcite from this seldom referenced locality!!! This specimen retains an old label from Pierre Destinez that is dated 1889!!! This old time beauty consists of a handsome cluster of complex calcite crystals that hosts a razor-sharp cubic crystal of lively golden yellow fluorite!!! The fluorite crystal is lustrous, gem clear, and pristine!!! In addition to the main fluorite crystal, there are several other much smaller crystals scattered about as well!!! The calcite crystals are sharply formed with marked clarity and glassy luster!!! Despite some minor damage, the specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently in person (especially given its age)!!! Simply a gorgeous old timer from a relatively rare locale!!! This specimen retains an old handscripted label from the collection of Pierre Destinez that is dated 1889!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
