Fluorite included in Quartz Amborompotsy, Ambatofinandrahana District, Amoron'i Mania Region, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar 3.9cm x 1.35cm x 1.12cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of fluorite included quartz from Madagascar!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, doubly terminated quartz crystal with a large, sharp fluorite crystal included within!!! These specimens were part of a small find a few years back and the material has all but disappeared now!!! There were very few crystals of this quality found - with the great majority consisting of cloudy crystal fragments!!! This specimen has exceptional clarity, luster, sharpness of form, and quality for this locale!!! Also, upon close examination one can see that the fluorite crystal is not an octahedron but actually a tetrahexahedron!!! This is one of the rarest fluorite crystal habits!!!
