A fantastic example of this extraordinary combination of fluorite included in quartz!!!
These specimens were part of a small find a few years back and there is very little
material to be had!!! Out of all of the material there were very few good "specimens"
found, as most were broken up chunks!!! Nearly all the specimens were single crystals and
clusters such as this were very uncommon!!! This magnificent specimen consists a long, doubly terminated
quartz crystal with a trio of smaller doubly terminated quartz crystals arranged in an aesthetic intersection at one end and
numerous, intensely colored, purple fluorite crystals
included within!!! This specimen has exceptional clarity, luster, sharpness of form,
and quality for this locale!!! This locality produced only a very small number of
crystals with significant enough clarity and lustrous enough faces to be able to
appreciate the fluorite crystals within!!! This specimen hosts numerous richly colored
purple fluorite crystals, as well as a few "negative" crystals (crystal cavities where
the fluorite crystal has since dissappeared)!!! Also, upon close examination these
fluorite crystals are not octahedrons but actually TETRAHEXAHEDRONS!!! This is a very
rare habit indeed - one of the rarest fluorite crystal habits!!! This material
has all but disappeared since its initial, small one-time find!!! Don't miss out!!! The
pics hardly do it justice!!!
