Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare, old time example of this rare silver bearing species from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of a showy
cluster of disc-like siderite crystals that host a significant showing of complex, darkly colored crystals of
freibergite!!! Although it is difficult to appreciate in the pics, the crystals of freibergite are very well formed and
in fantastic condition!!! The freibgergite crystals have highly complex forms upon close inspection - exhibiting all manner of
complex features and modifications (even some curiously curved features)!!! This specimen displays magnificently in person and is a
fantastic example of the species for the locality!!! This specimen was previously in the collections of Carlton Davis and Max Eubrick, and
retains old labels as well!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
