Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of gahnite from Franklin!!! This specimen hosts numerous crystals of gahnite on a matrix of dark grey calcite!!! The gahnite crystals are sharp and glassy with a very dark green - almost black, color!!! The gahnite crystals range in size to 1.1cm and are prominently perched on the matrix!!!
