Description/Interesting Notes: This specimen is from a small collection of Langban minerals I that came from old material from the Museum of Natural History in New York (please note that the specimens do not have old labels however)!!! I will be offering all of the specimens in the next few auctions as part of "Langban Fest"!!! This material is really great Langban material as far as I understand, but admittedly I am not an expert in this somewhat specialized area!!! If you are a Langban collector this is no doubt a unique opportunity!!! Be sure to stay tuned during the next few auctions as I will be listing a great many more specimens!!! A terrific example of galena from Langban!!! Galena is actually very rare from Langban and this is fantastic example fot the locale!!! This specimen hosts a dense arrangement of complex, somewhat skeletal crystals of galena in association with other species!!! A significant Langban galena indeed!!!
