Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of galena from this historic Illinois locale!!! This specimen consists of a dense cluster of slightly rounded, gray crystals of galena!!! The specimen is actually quite striking in person - a very handsome old timer indeed!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition, especially given that it was collected more than a century ago!!!
