Galena with Quartz Freiberg District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany 9.25cm x 6.65cm x 4.66cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of galena from Germany!!! This specimen consists of numerous complex galena crystals in association with small quartz crystals and golden crystals of marcasite on a matrix of massive galena!!! This specimen likely dates to the 19th century!!! The galena crystals exhibit some highly complex modified forms with sharply defined faces and a handsome "antique" patina!!! Classic material!!!
