Description/Interesting Notes: a classic example of galena with fluorite from this famed locality!!! This specimen consists of a single crystal of galena aesthetically flanked by a pair of complex multicolored fluorite crystals!!! The galena crystal has a complex cubic habit and measures nearly 10cm!!! The galena crystal is complete all around with octahedral modifications on the corners!!! The fluorite crystals have highly complex, stepped and etched habits - they are both complete as well!!! The fluorite crystals have lively purple and blue coloration with significant zones of yellow as well!!! The galena has bright silver metallic luster as well!!! This specimen is quite striking in person!!! Despite some minor damage that does not detract in any meaningful way, the specimen is in fantastic condition!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of noted collector and scholar Bob Jenkins and retains his original collection label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
