Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of galena from this famous locale!!! This specimen consists of a large, cubic crystal of silvery metallic galena that is aesthetically studded with octahedral crystals of galena!!! There is a small amount of brassy golden marcasite present as well!!! The octahedral crystal faces are all oriented the same direction which makes for a rather attractive appearance in person!!! Classic old time material!!! Despite some minor damage this specimen displays magnificently all around and is quite showy and impressive!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
