Galena Gonderbach Mine, Fischelbach, Bad Laasphe, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany 11.46cm x 7.54cm x 5.86cm circa late 1800's mining

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of galena from Germany!!! This specimen consists of an amazingly complex cluster of galena crystals that exhibit a most unusual tabular habit!!! The galana crystals appear to be outrageously complex, modified macle-twins!!! The crystals are in fantastic condition all around and show lustrous, brilliantly metallic repeating cubic forms that dance with angular flashes of light with even the slightest movement!!! This is an amazing specimen to be certain!!! This locality was a silver mine that closed in 1939 and the specimen retains a previous dealers label that states that the specimen dates to the 19th century!!! The pics don't even come close to capturing just how amazing and showy this incredible old time German galena is in person!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays gorgeously!!!
