An incredibly classy thumbnail specimen indeed! This handsome gem consists of a sharp, emerald green dioptase crystal, aesthetically perched atop a matrix of botryoidal duftite crystals. The combination of different shades of green, makes for an impressive and striking appearance! The dioptase crystal is of choice, emerald green color and has glassy luster. The crystal is very sharply formed, and there are several smaller dioptase crystals associated with the primary one. Curiously, the dioptase crystal has a phantom inside it, that makes the center somewhat translucent, and the outer millimeter is gem clear. There are some tiny dings along the edge of the primary crystal, but they do not effect this crystal's amazing aesthetics in any appreciable way.
