This specimen consists of numerous large plates of chalcocite with a thin coating of bornite, providing an incredible iridescent sheen. These large crystals have numerous concentric patterns of growth on their faces as well. In addition to the crystals that have an epimorphic coating of bornite, there is a later growth of smaller, well-defined chalcocite crystals on several of the larger crystals' faces.
