ONE OF THE FINEST NATROLITES FROM SAN BENITO COUNTY THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN! Usually the only natrolite that one sees from this area is the white crud that one has to dissolve in order to expose the wonderful benitoite crystals that the locale is famous for. This specimen is absolutely EXTRAORDINARY for any locale, however, the fact that it is a San Benito specimen is just incredible!! These crystals are large, sharp, and gemmy. This slightly juxtaposed cluster of crystals is also supremely aesthetic. The pictures say it all, and this specimen is even better in person. A very rare find indeed!
