Description/Interesting Notes:
A rich and impressive example of this very rare species from the Congo!!! Gallite is a very
rare gallium bearing species and, of all the four thousand plus known mineral species, there are just a few
that contain this rare element (and they are all extremely rare!)!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing
of grayish metallic gallite in association with brassy-orange renierite!!! The gallite is incredibly
rich - with several large masses and veins distributed throughout the entire specimen!!! A very
impressive example ot this very rare gallium bearing species!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
