Rhodochrosite Wolf Mine, Herdorf, Siegerland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany 3.75cm x 2.25cm x 1.95cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of rhodochrosite from Germany!!! This specimen hosts a cluster of complex rhodochrosite crystals on a small amount of matrix!!! The crystals have curious, flattened and slightly rounded habits resembling gumdrops!!! The crystals have rich color and marked translucency!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Classic material!!!
