Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of this rare species from the type locale in Texas!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of
gianellaite in association with complex calomel crystals!!! It was difficult to capture this specimen in the
pics, however upon close inspection with a loupe or scope there are numerous areas of well formed
crystals of yellowish-green gianellaite as well as small amounts of what are other rare related species!!! The
calomel crystals are quite significant - with two prominent blade-like crystals and numerous other
highly complex crystals scattered about!!! This is a magnificent example of this rare species
from the type locale!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of
Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen
