Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and complex example of gmelinite from New Jersey!!! This specimen consists of a plate of green prehnite crystals that hosts a group of large, complex, light pink gmelinite crystals on one half and a coating of small, near colorless, complex datolite crystals on the other half!!! There are also a few scatteredd apophyllite crystals in association as well as a dusting of darkly colored babingtonite microcrystals!!! This specimen is quite impressive in person - the pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! This specimen retains its original Ken Hogan label!!!
