Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic, old time example of iridescent goethite from this classic Connecticut locale!!! This specimen
hosts a broad face covered with lustrous, jet-black botyroidal crystals of goethite that show a striking rainbow-colored
iridescence!!! The reverse shows some goethite as well!!! This specimen has an affixed catalogue number from the Paterson Museum and
old labels that note it came from George E. Ashby!!! Classic material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
