Native Gold on Pyrite and Bornite Bisbee, Warren District, Mule Mts, Cochise Co., Arizona 6.1cm x 4.1cm x 3.04cm Ex. J. Cilen Collection

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of native gold from Bisbee!!! This specimen consists of a massive pyrite and bornite matrix that hosts several vugs lined with complexly altered pyrite crystals!!! There is a shallow vug on one edge of the specimen that hosts a few small masses of native gold!!! Some of the pyrite crystals exhibit alteration to bornite as well!!! Upon close examination with a loupe or a scope one can find some areas of micro-gold scattered about as well!!! Rare material!!! This specimen retains an old label from the J.
