An old time example of native gold from this ancient and historic locality!!! This specimen likely dates to the 19th century or earlier!!! This specimen hosts several groups of complex, meandering dendritic
crystals of
native gold on a matrix covered with tiny quartz points and associated sulfides!!! The gold crystals are actually
quite fine upon close examination!!! There appear to be some tiny tetrahedrite crystals in association as well!!! This specimen
retains a German label with notation!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
