Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of native gold with wolframite from Peru!!! This specimen hosts a network of intergrown crystals of wolframite on matrix in association with numerous fine masses of finely crystallized native gold!!! There are numerous areas of exposed native gold scattered all across the entire specimen!!! There is more gold than it appears in the pics!!! The areas of native gold are present both on the matrix, amongst the wolframite crystals, and included within the matrix!!! The gold has a particularly deep buttery yellow color and the small exposed masses are quite brilliant as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
