A fantastic example of native gold with petzite and altaite from Canada!!! This specimen consists of a large, blocky mass that hosts
a rich showing of petzite, altaite, and native gold!!! One can see rich areas of bright, silvery metallic altaite included throughout the
specimen with numerous characteristic cleavage faces scattered about as well!!! The specimen also hosts a very rich showing of
darkly colored petzite distributed throughout the specimen!!! There are significant areas of exposed petzite and, upon close inspection with a loupe or
scope one can see some small subhedral crystals as well!!! Some of the native gold on the surface has a thin layer of darkly colored
petzite just beneath it!!! The native gold is present both as scattered masses as well as intimately intergrown with the altaite and
petzite!!! This specimen is much more rich and significant than the pics show!!! Rare and valuable material!!!
