Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of native gold from Venezuala!!! This specimen consists of highly complex crystal of native gold!!! The crystal has a gorgeous, rich golden hue and bright metallic brilliance!!! The crystal is complete and exhibits showy, complexly hoppered forms and other complex features!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that there are some tetrahexahedral terminations at the top of the specimen!!! The crystal is loaded with sharply defined faces and has many more faces than it even appears from the pics!!! The gold from this find is remarkably pure as well, with some crystals assaying at 99.6% pure!!! Simply a gorgeous example of this highly prized and sought after species!!!
