A rare, old time example of native gold from this unfortunately named locality!!! This specimen hosts a lively showing of bright, buttery yellow
native gold in a stark white quartz matrix!!! Upon close examination, one can see complexly crystalline features and some very bright faces!!! There is also a
tiny grain of an unidentified species (likely telluride) in association as well!!! This locality dates to the early 1900's and specimens from this exact
locality are quite scarce indeed!!! This specimen was acquired from the Jenkins Collection!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
