Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of native gold from this famed California locale!!! This specimen hosts a sharp, elongated spinel twin crystal of native gold rising out of a small, complexly crystalline mass!!! The crystal has razor-sharp faces and features with brilliant metallic luster and rich buttery yellow golden color!!! The crystal shows some slightly hoppered features as well as complexly modified edges!!! The remainder of the specimen is much more crystalline than it appears in the pics - with lustrous, oriented crystal faces that flash at the right angle!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
