Description/Interesting Notes: A rare locality example of native gold from Peru!!! This specimen hosts several areas of brilliant, buttery yellow native gold on a matrix of quartz in association with some limonite!!! Upon close inspection, the gold exhibits complex crystalline features and, in addition, there are a few tiny wires of native gold present as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
