Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of native gold var. electrum from Nevada!!! This specimen consists of a complex network of very well formed crystals of native gold var. electrum in association with a small amount of matrix!!! Electrum is native gold that contains a small percentage of native silver which often gives if a characteristic hue!!! The crystals are very well formed and show numerous elongated, spinel-twin crystals as well as attractive herring-bone like dendritic crystals, highly complex dodecahedral forms, and more!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope this specimen is simply amazing!!! The crystals are sharp and have brilliantly metallic luster!!! The color is significantly more golden in person than the pics show!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently all around!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
