A magnificent example of native gold from Venezuala!!! This specimen consists of a striking cluster of
complex, spinel-twinned crystals of
native gold!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged all around!!!
This is a significant cluster for this locality - rarely do such fine crystals reach this size and quality!!! The great majority of
specimens from this locality are small, equant crystals with more or less alluvial wear - clusters are the exception, and most clusters are small and simple!!!
This specimen is wonderfully complex and three-dimensional - it is absolutely gorgeous in person!!! This is a killer for this unique locality!!! The specimen has
gorgeous color and brilliant metallic luster!!! Upon close examination one can see much more detail to its crystalline features as well!!!
The gold from this find is remarkably pure as well, with some crystals assaying at 99.6% pure!!!
