Native Gold Para, Brazil crystals up to 5mm 7 grams (total weight)

Description/Interesting Notes: An old time lot of native gold crystals from Brazil!!! This group of specimens weighs just over 7 grams, with individual specimens measuring up to 5mm in size!!! Let me start off by saying that these crystals are WAY better than the pics show!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, these alluvial crystals show some very unique and unusual features!!! When closely examined the large majority of these crystals appear to be made up of thin, concentric layers!!! Additionally, there are a small number of crystals that show a distinct, silvery patina which may indicate the presence of platinum or palladium (which this region is known for)!!! There are some very curious forms and growths that are simply incredible when viewed under magnification (unfortunately I could not capture these details in the pics) - I have never seen material like it!!! This is OLD material that dates back to well before WWII!!! This is a valuable lot for its gold content alone!!! Specimen retains an old, unattributed label and glass vial as well!!!
