Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, rich example of native gold and rare tellurides from Canada!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that is just loaded with native gold and rare tellurides!!! The specimen is MUCH more rich than the pictures show - basically all the darkly colored material seen in the pics is a combination of native gold and tellurides!!! There is a large mass of solid native gold & tellurides prominently positioned on the front of the specimen that measures roughly 2cm square in addition to numerous significant masses throughout the specimen as well!!! There is a significant amount of altaite present, however it is clear that there are other unidentified telluride species in association!!! This is an OLD specimen and has an affixed label that is no longer legible, however it retains an unattributed handwritten label and the Beres collection catalogue number!!! This speciemen is surprisingly heavy and rich!!! The pics hardly do it justice - a killer old time gold & telluride combo from Canada!!!
