Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of native gold from Venezuala!!! This specimen consists of highly complex single crystal of native gold!!! The crystal has a complex, modified habit that exhibits some rare tetrahexahedral faces (think of a cube but with shallow, four-sided pyramids on each cube face!)!!! The crystal has well defined faces all around with some well defined tetrahexahedral termination faces!!! The other sides of the crystal appear to exhibit some shallowly hoppered features and other curious details!!! This specimen is complete all around!!! This specimen has brilliant luster and a bright golden hue!!! The gold from this find is remarkably pure as well, with some crystals assaying at 99.6% pure!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
