Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique, old time example of native gold from this historic locale!!! This specimen
hosts a brilliant cluster of complex, razor-sharp crystals of native gold intergrown
with arsenopyrite and prominently perched on a small portion of matrix!!! The native gold
crystals have highly complex modifications with razor sharp faces, mirror brilliant metallic luster, and
a lively bright golden hue!!! Upon close study one can see that there are a couple
silvery crystals of arsenopyrite intergrown with the gold crystals (there are even some tiny arsenopyrite crystals
perched on one of the gold crystals!)!!! Old material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
