Description/Interesting Notes: An old, rare locality example of native gold from the Philippines!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts a very rich showing of native gold included within!!! It is difficult to appreciate from the pics, however this specimen is absolutely loaded with fine, brilliant crystals of native gold!!! The native gold is present as fine but well formed crystals of native gold that are very densely included within the quartz!!! It is almost like the specimen is full of spongiform native gold!!! In person the brilliance of the exposed native gold crystals is much more apparent and dynamic!!! This is a most unusual and interesting old time native gold specimen!!!
