This specimen consists of a characteristic, hematitic matrix that hosts a signficiant showing of native gold spread across its broad face!!! There is more native gold present than it appears in the pics!!! As is characteristic of this locale, the native gold is present as fine, sheet-like masses - and this specimen hosts quite a rich showing!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
