Description/Interesting Notes: A incredible example of native gold from Venezuala!!! This specimen consists of a complex and unusually elongated crystal of native gold!!! The crystal appears to be an elongated spinel-twin that exhibits a showy network of jagged faces that resemble a saw-blade or - perhaps more so, a key!!! The crystal is quite showy, with bright metallic luster and a rich, buttery yellow golden hue!!! This specimen is quite unusual for the locality!!! This specimen displays fantastically all around!!! The gold from this find is remarkably pure as well, with some crystals assaying at 99.6% pure!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
