Description/Interesting Notes:
A very rich showing of this rare species from the type locality in Nevada!!! This specimen consists of a large, chunky specimen
that has been cut and polished on both sides to further display its impressive richness!!! While the polished faces show
rich networks of veins and masses of silvery metallic goldfieldite, one can also see significant areas of silvery gray
goldfieldite all over the natural surfaces as well!!! There is much more goldfieldite present than the pics show - it is
even more rich than the pictures imply!!! Even more exciting than all of the massive goldfieldite, there is a small area on the matrix
that hosts several very well formed, eye-visible CRYSTALS of goldfieldite!!! The crystals are present as intergrown tetrahedrons
set on contrasting whitish quartz!!! Simply an incredible example of this very rare species!!! This specimen
retains old labels as well!!!
