An extraordinary example of grossular garnet from Maryland!!! This specimen is from the collection of Fred Parker, who undoubtedly owns
one of the most significant collections of Maryland minerals in private or public hands!!! Mineral specimens from Maryland are rather uncommon
on the market to begin with, and fine specimens such as this are virtually nonexistent!!! This specimen consists of a somewhat compressed cluster of
sharp, lustrous, reddish orange grossular crystals aesthetically accented by some calcite!!! Simply a gorgeous specimen from a very difficult to obtain locality!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
