Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of grossular garnet from Washington!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of gemmy, orange-brown crystals of grossular garnet on matrix!!! The crystals have sharp, glassy faces and exhibit a most unique feature - these crystals have large, pronounced, square-shaped cube faces!!! To have such pronounced cube faces is a rare and unique feature that is characteristic of this locale!!! Very handsome and showy in person!!! Unique material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
